We are excited that you want to share your creative work with My Pizzazz! Follow the simple steps below to submit your short story:

    Choose Your Story Theme

• Your story can be about anything (experiences, social issues, or creative storytelling) ! Whether it is about an exciting adventure, a fun friendship, or a magical world, let your imagination run wild.

• Small moment stories, personal narratives, fiction, nonfiction are all welcomed.

• Make sure the story is original and created by you.

   Story Length

• Your short story should be between 300 to 1,000 words.

• If your story is longer, feel free to send it, but it might be edited for length if selected.

• Use respectful and appropriate language. Submissions that contain offensive or inappropriate content will not be considered.

   Formatting Your Story

• Give your story a title that grabs attention.

• Write in  black ink, 12-point font, using a clear font like Arial or Times New Roman.

• Make sure to include paragraph breaks to make the story easy to read.

   Create a Cover

   Bring your story to life with a creative cover page designed by you! Whether you prefer drawing by hand, painting with vibrant colors,      or crafting digital art on a computer or tablet, the choice is yours. Your cover can be:

• Hand-Drawn: Use pencils, markers, or crayons to sketch your ideas.

• Painted: Grab your paintbrushes and express your story with watercolors, acrylics, or oils.

• Digital Art: Create your cover using digital tools and apps on your device.

• Mixed Media: Combine different materials like magazine cutouts, fabrics, or stickers for a unique collage.

   Let your imagination run wild and design a cover that captures the essence of your story. This is your chance to showcase not just your     writing skills but also your artistic flair. Have fun, be bold, and make your story stand out with a cover that is uniquely yours!

   Proofread

• Before submitting, check your spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

• Make sure your story flows well and is easy to understand.

• Upload your document as a PDF

• Upload your cover 

• Click submit!

   Deadline

• Inaugural Issue deadline 1.6.25. Submissions will be ongoing after the Inaugural issue.

   What Happens Next?

• After we receive your story, our team will review it.

• If your story is selected for publication, you will receive an email letting you know, and your story will be featured in an upcoming issue of  My Pizzazz!
